Chrissy Teigen reported this week on an endometriosis operation which she described as “hard” but better than “the pain from Endo”.
The earlier model had surgery on Thursday to relieve the pain that occurs when the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.
In a video shared on Twitter, Teigen is lying on the sofa with plasters over his stomach and love hearts.
“I’m fine, I’m home now,” she said. “I’m all numb.”
The 34-year-old later revealed that her children were particularly active around her during her recovery.
“I know kids are usually extremely nervous beings, but they are absolutely absolutely thrashing, kicking, and kicking more when you tell them to be careful with your healing body?” she tweeted.
“You feel the calm energy and you MUST break it!”
Teigen’s tweets sparked thousands of responses from other women who had undergone surgery for endometriosis.
“I had 12 endo surgeries,” tweeted one person. “My best recovery advice is to carry a pillow around your stomach to protect yourself from anything painful. Super good for the car.”
Another added: “So happily the operation went smoothly for you! My cat certainly seems to knead my stomach more after the operation, it’s as if they know. I wish you a speedy recovery and good long-term results !!!”
Teigen’s tweets about the surgery come after she revealed she felt “bad” the week her stillborn son was due to be born.
In early October, Teigen posted a photo on Instagram in which she was crying in the hospital and being looked after by medical staff after giving birth to a stillborn baby in the 20th week of pregnancy.
“We have never been able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids it needs, despite bags and bags with blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough, “she wrote in a statement at the time.
This week Teigen, who shares daughter Luna Simone (four) and son Miles Theodore (two) with Legend, tweeted that she felt “absent” when “my little Jack was born this week”.
